The Deadpans played at the Lifting Light benefit concert in support of Ottawa's Empathy House along with John MacDonald and Dave Byron. All proceeds and CD sales were donated to Empathy House, which is a long-term residential treatment facility for women who have a primary problem of substance addiction.
